FAQ
What is food grade silicone?
Silicone rubber is an elastomer (rubber-like material) composed of silicone—itself a polymer—containing silicon together with carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.
Benefits of food grade silicone:
Highly resistant to damage and degradation from extreme temperatures
Doesn’t harden, crack, peel, crumble, dry out, rot or become brittle over time
Lightweight, saves space, easy to transport
Made from an abundant natural resource
Non-toxic and odorless – contains no bpa, latex, lead, phthalates,
May be 100% recycled at select locations; non-hazardous waste
Plastic that doesn’t end up in a landfill often ends up in the ocean and enters the food chain which is a big concern for human health. The harsh chemicals and toxins found in plastic can lead to cancer, infertility, immune disorders and more.
Fortunately, you now have a healthier option: food grade silicone is a more flexible, sustainable, and safer alternative to plastic, so it’s safe for people and the planet.
How do I care for my silicone food products?
Wash before and after each use. Although dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing your spoon with warm, soapy water and rinsing thoroughly. Do not use any bleach-based cleaners or tablets to sterilise or clean your silicone products. To sterilise, use a steam steriliser (electric or microwave) or boil in water for 2-3 minutes.
Caution: Adult supervision is required at all times. Check product condition regularly. Replace if this product shows any signs of damage. Do not store near any sharp objects.
Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges should be used to clean this product, as hard scourers may scratch the surface. Store dry and avoid storing in direct sunlight.
Are my Mama Organiser Pouches machine washable?
Yes. Please do not put in hot washes over 40 degrees celsius and avoid harsh bleaches or chemical cleaners. You may choose to simply wipe them down after each use and machine wash only when significantly soiled.

Yes, we ship worldwide for fixed, flat rates that have been pre-calculated for the weight of a single kit.
